The Temple Guy's
Shenzhen Page!
For the past year, I have been living and
working in Shenzhen, China.
During that time I have had the chance to
see quite a few of the local sights, and have made pages
about many of them. I have also written articles
from time to time, and in the early days recorded my fresh experiences in
Shenzhen in a blog (diary). Finally, there are some
random pictures taken here and there in Shenzhen.

My blog about my
early days in Shenzhen:
- The Barefoot

- See especially these entries:
- My arrival and earliest days:
February 7, 8,
9, 11,
12, 14
- Fun with Justin at the Folk Cultural Villages
on February 26
- Long catch-up entries in March
including my first English
Salon and meeting a Hong Kong
movie star. I also wrote about my first real problem
student, buying CDs
and DVDs, my first
visit to Nantou, and
my discovery of the great hero Lei
Feng.
- Not much in April:
my best-ever article about traditional
China, and more images of Lei
Feng.
- In May,
there's my move to the apartment
where I still live, an encounter with a gecko,
my first visit to Hong Kong,
and the background on
my Day in Chiwan page.
- Finally, July
(nothing for June): A visit from some Japanese
girls I taught in L.A., and lots of stuff on salons, housing
changes, parties, temples, and litchis!
Hereafter, life became more "normal"--that is, I got used to
it--and the blog was discontinued.
